Getting There

Air Asia and Malaysia Airlines operate numerous daily flights to Kota Kinabalu from Kuala Lumpur, as well as other Malaysian cities of Penang, Kuching and Miri.

Both airlines – and Dragonair – also fly direct to KK from Hong Kong; Air Asia and Silkair fly from Singapore; Asiana has direct flights from Seoul; Malaysia Airlines and Royal Brunei Airlines fly from Brunei; Cebu Pacific services KK from Manila; and Air Asia flies direct from Shenzhen, China and from Singapore.

Internal flights within Sabah on Air Asia and Malaysia Airlines provide easy access to the east coast centres of Sandakan and Tawau.
